Why Nature?

There is a robust body of research that highlights the benefits of engaging with Nature, many of which are especially relevant due to the amount of indoor activities and technology we engage with on a daily basis. While the empirical evidence that Nature is healing is undeniable, engaging with Nature is also both an ancient practice and an intuitive and natural process (pun intended!). Many of us live fast-paced lifestyles and move through our routines  guided by our thinking minds.

Ria Glassman MS, OTR/L


I have 10 years of experience supporting others in their growth and development in the home enviroment, schools, and community mental health. In 2023, I received my occupational therapy license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy. I decided to open a private practice to create a safe space where I can be in true collaboration with others, in a workplace that is healing to both myself and my clients (outdoors!), and to honor the intuitive, sacred, and restorative power of working with the land.
